Dear All, below is a basic explanation of how our Academy works.

Intro To Fencing is where you start (Click here to Register).  Mondays through Fridays 5pm for Youth, 6pm for 12 and Up and Adults. First Intro Class always free: use code "FirstIntro2024" when registering. You can try it to check out the Academy and see if you like it.

We also offer an eight week beginner course on Saturdays that will teach the basic footwork, bladework, refereeing and USA Fencing sparring formats. Click here to register for Saturday Beginner Class.

All equipment is provided. No commitment. After you try it, may join the Core Program or attend the intermediate classes for three months. (Some flexibility possible here, but we highly recommend joining the Core program sooner than later. You can add a private lesson to an Intermediate class anytime as well.)

Core Programs require a commitment until end of the season mid June. It is for fencers that know they like the sport and want to take it to a competitive level. They are more expensive because the classes are longer and our coaching team works together using 150+ collective years of experience at the National, International and Collegiate level. The reason the Core program is in the middle of the week is because we have competitions almost every weekend. We will guide you from the Intro to Tournaments competition at CFA all the way to the International circuit step by step.

We are reserving the weekends for tournaments, travel, R&R, birthday parties, demonstrations, and other fun activities.

Equipment is required for the Core program and it also includes private lessons. Click here to learn about purchasing equipment.

Group B: Youth 11 to Adults, zero to four year experience. One to four days a week at CFA, 3 to 20 tournaments a year with some travel to Region 6 events.
Goals are the same as Group A with the addition of earning a USA Fencing Rating and climbing the Regional Point Standings to develop consistency.
Group C: Youth 12 to Adults, one year to forever. Two to Four days a week at CFA, 6 to 20+ tournaments a year, DMV, Region 6, potentially National and International travel.
